Hillary graduated with a BA degree in Art from the University of Wisconsin, Madison in 2002. She spent 15 years in New York City as an entrepreneur before moving to the Capital Region of New York State with her husband to buy a home and raise a family. Originally from Minnesota, she grew up in the real estate business with her grandfather and father (both developers in residential home construction.) She enjoyed watching homes being built from blueprint to open house.
Hillary has been a Licensed Real Estate Salesperson since 2014. She has a residential as well as commercial background renting properties in Manhattan including apartments, storefronts and offices. In addition, she previously owned and operated Hillary Flowers Designer Collective Boutique, selling her own designs as well as those of emerging fashion designers. She leased a storefront boutique on the Lower East Side of Manhattan for five years, and then rented an office in NoMad, Manhattan designing custom shirts for men by appointment for 20 Peacocks. Understanding the importance of marketing, she has a public relations background. Having built the brand “Hillary Flowers” and working as a spokesperson, she received press on the NBC Times Square Billboard and Television, Esquire Network, Fox Television, Social Life Magazine, Hampton Daze and much more. Throughout the years Hillary has focused on entrepreneurialism with a diverse business background maintaining strong interpersonal, networking, marketing and deal-making skills.
